About Me
I am 47 years old, 6'3" tall, 195 lbs. I’m a traditional, conservative guy with loads of common sense
and a wholesome sense of humor. I’m addicted to politics and speak
three languages, but my un-inflated ego doesn’t lend itself to
political aspirations. At a party, I’ll buddy up with the host, the
shy person, the bartender. Music is a big part of my life, and I
like everything from Mozart's Divertimento in D to Bob
Marley’s One Love. My karaoke covers of Air Supply songs are
not to be missed. I’d even be open to opera, if you can find one
where no one dies at the end. I’m fascinated by literature, history
and art, from Emile Zola's La Fortune des Rougon to Renoir’s
Dancing in the City. I adore the outdoors, whether it’s
running a 10K or a hiking in a conservation area. I pride myself on
my sense of responsibility. I love my career and have a beautiful home. My
dream is to have a family someday. When it comes to romance, I like
quiet getaways.
About You
You are an optimist, and have faith in the future. You are a
fantastic conversationalist, and you have strong opinions on
everything from politics to cinema to us. You don’t always have all
the answers, and neither do I, but that’s okay because we work it
out together. You see nothing oppressive about traditional roles, so
long as your relationship is based on mutual respect and common
goals. You like dressing up for a night dancing in downtown Toronto,
and dressing down for a bike ride along the Don Valley trail. You
think spicy food is the spice of life. You love your job. You make
me laugh. You will make a great mother someday, and can’t wait to
have kids, or even adopt. You have high standards and know what’s
important. You appreciate quality, but don’t get hung up on
name-brands. You’re not looking for a boss, and you don’t want to be
the boss either. You take pleasure in other people’s
accomplishments, and are always quick to praise. When I ask you how
your day was, you know I really care about your answer. And kissing
you when I get home from work is the highlight of my day.
